This is a joke, right? According an anonymous White House official, President Bush is urging a halt to CO2 emission growth by 2025. Notwithstanding the facts that a) halting emissions increase by 2025 won't do the job, and b) he's waited until he's got nine months left in office to propose anything on global warming, this is one of the funniest articles I've read all year. I mean, how on earth could the reporter write this line, "The official also confirmed that Bush would not detail specific Cheetahs, pumas and jaguars of Europe Cheetahs, pumas and jaguars of Europe (April 16th, 2008) Found on Tretrapod Zoology, a series of articles about prehistoric felines among which one can find big cats like lions, pumas, jaguars, cougars, cheetahs or leopards on continents where they totally disappeared later. It seems that for every expert opinion there is an opposite opinion, and for every piece of evidence there are contrary views. Politicians, scientists and environmentalists alike can’t seem to agree on all of the facts... Graham: McCain Has Done More On Global Warming Than Gore Lindsey Graham has officially gone insane. He says that John McCain has done more than Al Gore on warming. Never mind that Gore facilitated the first hearings on climate change in the late '70s, never mind that Gore was a prime mover in facilitating American involvement in the Kyoto Treaties, or that Al Gore won a Nobel Prize for his work. Global Warming and Climate Change Earlier, it was believed that the amount of solar energy caught by the earth was the sole source of influencing climate. But the continuous researches by the environmental scientists have established the fact that it is more of a human activity... U.N. CDC says warming to hurt your health...but doesn't want to criticize EPA for failing to regulate greenhouse gas

A top government health official said Wednesday that climate change is expected to have a significant impact on health in the next few decades, the Associated Press is reporting today. Certain segments of the population, particular David vs. Goliath: The Emerging Climate Fault Line A new fault line has emerged in the climate movement amidst a firestorm of debate over the past week. On one side is a group of old-guard and well-known environmentalists, and on the other is a newly forming alliance of climate and energy scientists who are challenging traditional beliefs held at the highest levels of the environmental establishment. What is happening should invigorate young activists to continue challenging conventional wisdom – and serve as an alarm to the entire movement.
